The Manzano or "Apple" banana, a valuable and highly desired variety, is tasty when eaten fresh, included in fruit salads, baked into breads, incorporated into custards and puddings, fried into fritters, or mixed into shakes and daiquiris. These plants mature within our geothermal greenhouse. As a fruit-bearing plant, it can grow up to 10 feet in height.
We cultivate these plants in our geothermal greenhouse, which fosters their fruiting process. We selectively remove shoots to maintain the productive capacity of these fruit-bearing plants.
